I am a recent graduate of Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, GA with an interest in film, art, history, and unique cocktails. I have had the opportunity to travel the world a great deal already in many different ways, but I am always looking for my next adventure, wherever it may be. It's hard to choose one favorite place I have been, but I think seeing the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland was definitely the most breathtaking.

Hi! My name is Katy. I am a high school social studies teacher and I am pursuing my graduate degree in Holocaust and Genocide Studies. In my spare time, I love to read, work in my garden, and play with my furbabies. I also enjoy travelling and doing photography. Anywhere is my favorite place to travel, whether it's across town, across the country, or across the world. The sense of adventure of experiencing somewhere new, meeting new people, and learning about another culture is unbeatable. Montepulciano, Italy, St. George Island (Florida), and Alaska will always have a special place in my heart!

MARTHA SANDERSON

My name is Martha Sanderson, and I’m just your average everyday high school teacher... except I’m not. I actually do not have a formalized background in teaching as my first passion and career was scientific research. I wrote a masters thesis on the sympatric speciation of a marine snail in the rocky intertidal of the Northeast (United States). While writing the thesis and attending grad school I had the opportunity, how I paid for grad school, to teach college biology. Needless to say, it shifted passions and now I teach high school science and still teach college on the side in North Georgia.

I love soccer, always have and always will. Traveling has been a lifelong pursuit, but now as I have gotten older, I’m venturing out on my own and traveling without my family. My favorite place that I have traveled thus far has been Alaska (and yes that general- I NEED to go back and explore more). My bucket list is long but hey I’ve got time: Roatan, Belize, Italy, Australia (specifically the Great Barrier Reef), Iceland, the UK, and the Caribbean.
